  2. If you're a current user of TIMECHEK, please check the docs and the
  3. sample control file.  There have been some changes which could affect
  4. you if you don't modify your current set up.

  8.  #1: The TIMECHEK control file no longer permits BLANK LINES.  Every
  9.      line is either commented out with '*' or ';' or it's a valid
  10.      data line with user name and associated data.
  11.  
  12.  #2: The TIMECHEK control file is now limited to 500 lines MAX. I
  13.      hope this won't be a problem with anyone. Let me know if it
  14.      is.

  16.  #3: TIMECHEK always commented out a user that had been modified
  17.      during a run.  You'll now need to add the "-C" command line
  18.      switch to make TIMECHEK continue to do this, otherwise, TIMECHEK
  19.      will delete the users name and data from the control file.
  20.      This command line switch comes AFTER the name of the Timechek
  21.      control file.  Like so...

  28.      Thanks to Ed Propes, a very SERIOUS bug was squashed in version
  29.      1.0.  Timechek would update the users settings, but it would
  30.      write the changes to the NEXT user in users.bbs!  Not nice.

  35.      At the request of Vernon Six, TIMECHEK 1.2 now allows flagging a
  36.      user as DELETED. Timechek will NOT delete the user, just flag him
  37.      as deleted.  You will have to run userpack to remove said user
  38.      from your users.bbs file.

  40.      To have Timechek flag a user as deleted on a specific date, set
  41.      his security level to -1 in the timechek control file.  The user
  42.      won't have much need for flags after this action, so you do not
  43.      need to have any flag settings for this user.  Just Name, Date
  44.      and -1 security level.
